Activate Accident Repair Achieves ARIES Level 4 Certification Across 13 Sites

Activate Accident Repair has today announced that all 13 of its sites are now fully compliant with Level 4 of the new Accident Repair Industry Environmental Standard (ARIES).

This milestone represents a significant achievement for the organisation, following years of sustained commitment and progress since attaining PAS 2060 certification in 2021.

ARIES, an industry-led standard, provides a clear framework for improving environmental performance across the accident repair sector. Achieving Level 4 recognises that Activate Repair has implemented a structured approach to sustainability, including reducing carbon emissions, managing energy use more effectively, and putting robust plans in place to address wider environmental impact.

The accreditation reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and aligning with best practice across the industry. Activate Repair has demonstrated this commitment by investing in energy-efficient technology, such as heat recycling ovens.

The business has also worked in partnership with LKQ Coatings to deliver training focused on energy-efficient repair methods and reduce reliance on single use plastics.

The ARIES accreditation forms part of Activate Group’s broader sustainability strategy, under which all emissions are measured and tracked, with carbon output offset through verified carbon credits and a clearly defined plan to reduce emissions over time.

Danielle Chruszcz, Chief Marketing, People and Sustainability Officer, said: “This accreditation reflects not only the progress we’ve made, but our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and responsible business practices.

“ARIES is a positive step forward for our industry, and embedding the standard supports us in delivering meaningful, measurable impact as we strive to reduce our environmental impact.”
