Activate Group is proud to be officially accredited as a real Living Wage employer.
The business made a commitment to pay the real Living Wage from April 1st 2024 in a move that saw 220 team members across the UK benefit from a wage increase.
Activate Group offers accident management services to fleets through its Peterborough-based sopp+sopp business, and handles personal lines insurance claims through Motor Repair Network, based in Halifax.
The business also includes Activate Accident Repair, a chain of state-of-the-art repair centres, and Activate Parts which provides next-day parts and consumables from its Huntingdon warehouse.
The real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate based on the cost of living and is independently calculated by the Living Wage Foundation based on actual living costs.
It currently stands at £12ph across the UK, and £13.15ph in London, significantly above the National Living Wage of £11.44ph which came into effect from April for workers aged 21 and over.
