Activate Group has launched Activate Collision Solutions, a new insurer‑focused collision management brand that brings two established businesses together under one identity.
The move follows Activate Group’s acquisition of Avant in 2025, combining the Group’s Motor Repair Network and Avant Repair Network businesses to create a scaled proposition designed to manage motor claims and repairs with even greater consistency, control and confidence.
Building on the strengths of these well-established businesses, Activate Collision Solutions already manages more than 68,000 claims a year on behalf of some of the UK’s largest insurers and brokers. The business covers the full claims journey, including first notification of loss (FNOL), intelligent triage, repair deployment, management and in‑house engineering expertise.
Chris Ryder, Managing Director, Activate Collision Solutions said: “With increasing vehicle complexity, rising compliance expectations and growing sustainability commitments, insurers need partners with the infrastructure, expertise and scale to meet broader business obligations – not just manage volume.
“Activate Collision Solutions has been built specifically to address these challenges, combining operational scale with the specialist expertise required to manage modern claims and repair demands.”
A defining strength of the new brand is its approach to bodyshop network management. Activate Collision Solutions brings together owned repair centres, through Activate Accident Repair, and a national network of more than 650 specialist partner repairers, managed through a partnership‑first model.
For insurers, this delivers guaranteed capacity where it matters most, with the flexibility to manage demand across vehicle types, regions and repair requirements. For repairers, it provides a stable, well‑managed flow of work and a collaborative relationship built on shared expectations and mutual success.
The brand is supported by Activate Group’s in‑house capabilities, including an integrated parts supplier, Activate Parts, and purpose-built claims management system that improves visibility and decision‑making from first notification through to repair completion.
Ryder continued: “This launch is about more than combining two businesses, it’s about carrying forward the values that have made Avant Repair Network and Motor Repair Network successful: integrity, innovation and a relentless focus on customer service.
“We’re creating a collision management partner built on transparency, strong repairer relationships and the drive to continually improve. Our aim is to give insurers certainty and control, while delivering the best possible experience for their customers.”
The new brand was revealed following a teaser campaign across the industry and formally unveiled at the British Bodyshop Awards on 6 May.
